The idea that the underwear you were defines whether or not your consent to anything is just pure disgusting. Sometimes wearing a thong is necessary to avoid a panty line...it doesn't mean you automatically consent to any sexual activity.

But let's not forget that there's always that fear in the pit of our stomach before a first date. With when it comes to the many free dating apps and websites available it's rare that you have previously met your date. Sometimes you agree to go on a date with someone only to discover they're older than they said, chain smoker and don't know any manners and you want to run screaming for the hills.

With only a week until Valentine's day, you can hear the stress of men and women everywhere trying to come up with the perfect present and date idea. Is a posh dinner overdone? Can we really just stay in and relax? Why do I have to get him/her flowers? In all honesty, you don't have to do anything if you don't want to.

Relationships can be a tricky minefield to explore, especially when you're not really experienced with adult relationships and instead your more accustom with the pecks behind the lunch hall or lusting after a celebrity that doesn't even know you exist.

We didn't wait around to go on the first date, and by the end of this date, I knew I wanted a relationship with him. When you know, you just know and there's no point hanging around. It's now three months later and we are still very much happy together (even if we do have to travel slightly to see each other, but it just makes that time together a little sweeter).
