Is it 2018...how? I remember seeing in 2000...I was only 3 but it's my first memory I have. I also remember when 2010 happened and it was scary that we were in double digits...now we are closer to 2020 than 2010.

I find it hard to believe we've reached the end of 2017. I've been in a relationship nearly 6 months now, I'm only 4 months away from finishing my degree. How has the time gone so quickly?

We're creeping ever so slowly closer to Christmas morning, and while in past years I would start watching Christmas films from the 1st of December...this year I haven't watched a single one yet! <b>I know I'm shocked at myself as well.</b> While this year I've been watching more TV Christmas Specials <s>especially Gavin & Stacey, Call The Midwife and Dr. Who</s> Christmas films never fail to put me in the Christmas spirit...something I'm seriously lacking this year.

It's December which means it's not long until 2018 rolls around, which is a fresh start so I'm making the most of it. If you've been reading my blog since it started you'll know that I went through a stage of using a bullet journal (I did a post about it <a href="https://alicia-smith.co.uk/time-to-get-organised/"><strong>Time To Get Organised</strong></a>), but it just wasn't suitable for my daily needs and I didn't have enough time to draw out layouts

It's nearly the end of 2017, which to be honest is quite a scary thought...it feels like every year is just getting quicker. In only a few months I'll be 21, handing in my dissertation and getting ready to graduate.

Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, Mean Girls, Love Rosie and Monte Carlo…what do all these things have in common? That’s right the girl gets the guy but in reality, life isn’t like that, as much as we wish it was.

We didn't wait around to go on the first date, and by the end of this date, I knew I wanted a relationship with him. When you know, you just know and there's no point hanging around. It's now three months later and we are still very much happy together (even if we do have to travel slightly to see each other, but it just makes that time together a little sweeter).

Snow is falling all around me...well okay more like rain since obviously it's England and we rarely get snow. However, I was lucky enough to win two tickets to the Zoella Winter Wonderland in London...where there was an inflatable snow globe, so I did get the chance to feel like it was snowing.

While I may have days where I just lounge around in bed not necessarily doing anything outwardly productive, the reality is I never truly switch off. I live on campus, therefore I sleep in the same room in which I study and write essays in and this makes it hard to truly relax. I may spend hours scrolling through Twitter and Instagram, but I'm also checking out new blogs and talking to fellow bloggers or responding to brand emails.

So if you hadn't realised I spent a week of being absent from social media during April, this is because I've been living it up in Croatia...or as we called it Rowatia (since we are rowers and we were in Croatia).

We all have them moments, it's the day before we are due to have a new post go live and we have zero ideas, I would describe the experience to be similar to going on a date with someone new but having no idea what to wear.
