Lovehoney: All things sexy
With only a week until Valentine’s day, you can hear the stress of men and women everywhere trying to come up with the perfect present and date idea. Is a posh dinner overdone? Can we really just stay in and relax? Why do I have to get him/her flowers? In all honesty, you don’t have to do anything if you don’t want to. Nobody says you must get all suited and booted and head to an overpriced restaurant for a meal that’s going to leave you too bloated and feeling sick, and that’s not very romantic at all. I’m looking forward to a cosy night in, with no pressure and just spending time with Sam.
I mean that’s what Valentines is for right? spending time with the person you love but it appears to have become over commercialised, like a lot of public holidays have, the pressure being thrown at you from all angles…even from bloggers creating gift guides. Despite the fact that Sam and I have agreed not to do presents, I still feel like I’m doing something wrong…but it’s such a personal day. How can I do something wrong?
although I’m the best present he could ever have.
If you’re yet to find a Valentine, why not check out these sites: Essex dating site*, Kent dating sites*, Naughty dating*, Manchester dating sites* or Single women in Grampian*. Or just treat yourself to some cute lingire, some wine and a new vibrator all for yourself and just have the best night without any awkwardness or fears to not getting your own orgasm. Why not give my The Perfect Valentines Pamper Evening post a read for some inspiration.
If you want to get to know a bit more about Lovehoney and the products they offer, in particularly their wands, then they’re actually holding an event on the 8th February at the South Bank in London. You’ll find them at Riverside Slice (by the Oxo Tower)
between 9am-5pm…this event is 18+ though.
I’m one of those females that is constantly buying new underwear, just for myself. I, like many women, get that girl boss attitude when they’ve got matching underwear on that makes them feel amazing. So, of course, Valentine’s day is the perfect opportunity to buy a slightly more risky set of lingerie than normal. I absolutely adore this Moonlight Wine Plunge Basque Set* from Lovehoney, not only does it come in standard sizes, but also in plus sizes so it’s suitable for just about every woman out there. Sure it comes with a g-string which isn’t the most comfortable underwear to wear (in my opinion) but it’s not like you’ll be wearing this for long once someone gets an eyeful.
THE BEST FRIEND THAT BUZZES
Dildos, vibrators, magic wands and everything in between…things no female should live their life without experiencing at least once. You can use them alone or you can use with the aid of a partner depending on how adventurous and kinky you’re feeling. As well as that they can either be the starter, the main course or dessert depending on your personal preference. If you’re a beginner I’d recommend starting with a trusty bullet, they’re not intimidating in the slightest, but provide more than enough power to get your eyes rolling into the back of your head in a heartbeat.
A GLASS OF WINE, BUBBLES OR COCKTAILS
Now obviously it’s up to personal preference whether you drink or not, but I personally enjoy a couple of glasses of wine with my dinner, it’s just a nice way to relax and unwind. I also find myself taking more control of my sexual desires after a couple of drinks (is that TMI?) but I just feel a lot more confident in myself and fell a hell of a lot sexier. Now it might just be me that is like this, but a bit of Dutch courage can make the world of difference, but I’m not saying get absolutely smashed just to sleep with someone. Trust me when I say I can go weeks without a drink and still have a perfectly healthy sex life. ALSO REMEMBER CONSENT IS IMPORTANT. Have you got anything exciting planned for Valentines?
Love you lots like jelly tots x
