No longer are the walls a horrible brown colour that my mum chose many years ago, (you can see a little section of my old room in this post) they’re now a lovely matte white (perfect for taking blog photos), and for once in my life, I don’t have second-hand furniture. All the furniture you can see (with the exception of the bed) is from Ikea, and I love the combination of white with the oak effect…adds a bit of dimension to my room.
A lot of the copper and rose gold items are actually just from George at Asda, they have some super cute items in at the moment and I kinda went a bit insane while picking nick nacks up. Sometimes you the best things are right under your nose and that’s something I discovered while re-decorating my room…plus it’s also useful to have sort of idea as to how you’d like the room to turn out.
Rather than talking through my room, I’m just going to show it off through photographs below, enjoy.
p.s. if there is anything you specifically want to know where it’s from, drop me a tweet.
So what do you think of my room? Do you agree that Pinterest has well and truly vomited all over it?
Love you lots like jelly tots x
All photos within this post were taken by me on my Olympus Pen E-PL7 in natural lighting. They were then edited on Photoshop CC 2015 and VSCO.
