March Monthly Round Up

March was a crazy busy month for me, I was in university five days a week, had two blog events, as well as posting twice a week. Therefore I’ve decided to do a March roundup post in which I can reflect on what occurred during the month of March. How I’ve made it to April I don’t know but I have and I’m ready to smash it as much as I did in March. My social life did take a bit of a battering and I didn’t get to spend as much time with my friends as I would have liked but I’m hoping to make up for that in this coming couple of months, plus I hope they understand since I am doing something I love (aka blogging). As for my mental health this month it’s been a rollercoaster of emotions, but I’m hoping that having a week in Croatia will me relax and unwind…even only slightly. I honestly cannot believe how quickly March came and went, honestly did March even happen or did I dream it? 2017 is just running away from me and I’m not sure how I feel about it. I’m not sure I’m ready for it to be 2018 because I’ll be turning 21 and graduating. I don’t want to grow up yet.
Like I said March was crazy for me, I had seven classes a week at university…one of which was working towards the resist of an assessment that I had failed before Christmas so that was, even more, stress, placed upon me. I tried to channel that stress into productivity for my blog and I like to think it worked. My blog stats certainly improved from February by quite a bit, which is always nice to see hard work pay off. Posting twice a week was stressful I’m not going to lie, I absolutely take my hat off to anyone that posts daily, but I got into the habit of dedicating my weekends to writing posts and taking photographs. Although since coming home for the holidays I seem to have fallen out of this habit…oops.

I attending two blog events including the Latest in Beauty launch for their Belle & Beast box (check out my ‘Tale as Old as Time‘ post) and the event itself was absolutely amazing and I had so much fun, plus I met some amazing people. I genuinely cannot thank the team at Latest in Beauty anymore for inviting me. This event was at the start of March, and I finished the month with attending the Makeup Revolution Third Birthday. Adam and the team at TAM beauty well and truly know how to throw a party, it was so much fun and the girlies I was with even encouraged me to go on the stage and dance (plus the flowing vodka and lemonades also helped).  Sorry, there was no post about the event I was just enjoying myself too much to think about taking photographs, my phone spent the entire night in my bag, although if you want to see what went on then Debra Bow did vlog it! The finale event I had was actually a thank you meal with my university, which turned into a let’s get drunk…although I’m not a big drinker anymore, so I only had a couple of drinks.

Now, this might not look very busy from the overview but trust me I didn’t stop that much, and April is looking to be just as busy. I won’t be posting on the 12th or 16th though as I will be sunning it up in Croatia, but I will be hopefully back on the 19th (Hopefully because I’ve got two essays to write before the 27th). You’ll be able to keep up with my adventures over on my Instagram and Twitter. What exciting things did you get up to in March?

Love you lots like jelly tots x

All photos within this post were taken by myself on a Fujifilm Finepix S4240 in natural lighting and edited on VSCO. Vlog was filmed and edited by Debra Bow so all credit to her.
