Christmas In September | Zoella Winter Wonderland

Snow is falling all around me…well okay more like rain since obviously it’s England and we rarely get snow. However, I was lucky enough to win two tickets to the Zoella Winter Wonderland in London…where there was an inflatable snow globe, so I did get the chance to feel like it was snowing. Now I’m a massive fan of Christmas, not as much as Zoe Sugg herself, but I do enjoy Christmas. While I may not celebrate the ‘true’ meaning of Christmas (the birth of Christ) I love how the season typically brings out the best in people…although some people can be scary when it comes to the boxing day sales.

While I do typically wait until after Halloween to get excited for Christmas…even if I did watch the Christmas special of Gavin and Stacey the other day…however this year I’m extremely excited to Christmas already and I think this has helped me just that little bit more. While Christmas means many things to different people, to me it’s a time in which I can relax and spend time with friends and family. Sure I normally have some uni work to do over the break (this year it’s writing my dissertation…scary stuff) but it’s nothing I can’t put on hold for a couple of days. I also adore how much cosier everything feels, fairy lights seem to twinkle that little more and the welcome warmth of shops while doing a spot of last minute present shopping.

Now let’s stop talking about Christmas in general, let’s focus on Zoe’s Christmas range… the first impression it’s so much more mature than her previous ranges. There are many items I want from this collection, in comparison to last year when I only wanted one or two items on offer. This range is definitely aimed at older viewers, opposed to her ‘stereotypical’ audience of young teens, and I love it everything from the packaging down to the scent is so much more grown up and it’s refreshing to see. Speaking of the scent, I absolutely adore it. Not only does it smell extremely fresh and clean but it’s not too over powering in any way, it’s an extreme contrast to the gingerbread scent of the 2016 collection.

Now for our trip to the Winter Wonderland we had an hour in which to enjoy ourselves, drink hot chocolate and take plenty of photographs. Debra and I had done all of this…although apprently my camera was having a fit and 90% of the photos are slightly out of focus…so appologies for that. The hour felt like the perfect amount of time, the room wasn’t massive but there was lots of things to smell (the Christmas Cookie candle smells amazing) and try. As well as a hot chocolate bar there were also two girls giving out hand massages using the Winter Wonderhand cream, and holy crap my hands felt amazing after that…plus I couldn’t stop smelling my hands…this range is definetely aimed at older Zoella fans.

There was also a giant snow globe you climb in and be surronded up snow…even if it did make my ears pop and go funny from the pressure as well as a copper bath tub full of fake snow. I certainly had too much fun playing with the fake snow I had it stuck in my hair for days after (brillant) but it was also extremely comfortable to sit in.

Rather than ramble on about the event, I’ve included a link to watch my vlog of the day (yep I actually vlogged the day…and I’ll be vlogging more events) I’m just going to tell you what we in the goodie bag…yes we got goodie bags. You can imagine my excitment to recieve some of the new products. First of all they were in a Zoella tote bag (signed my Zoe herself) and included the Cosy Vibes mug, the Stationary Bento Box, Winter Wonder hand and a bottle of Snow’ella…so keep an eye out for a review of a couple of those products or them featured in photographs.
