Summer is here
I’ve been watching and supporting Zoella since about 2011, and I own quite a few items from her beauty and lifestyle ranges…once a fangirl, always a fangirl. I’ve previously written posts on Testing Zoella Beauty and I was lucky enough to attend Zoella Winter Wonderland last year. So you could say I was already a fan of Zoella Beauty…even if it did take me a while for me to be convinced it wasn’t aimed at young girls. The Botanics range is a whole new story, I feel as though Zoe’s products just keep maturing with every range she releases. I was first pulled in by the Sweet Inspirations, stayed for the Gelateu, fell in love with Snow’ella and now ready to take on the world with Botanics.
I feel like the products now are aimed at anyone from mid teens and upwards, I don’t really see her younger fans loving the Snow’ella or Botanical scent since they’re more mature (in my opinion). I’m sure they still buy it though because it’s one of Zoe’s products.
Now I’m not normally one to buy every product in each collection…but I did…well except the makeup bag, I already have too many of those. But every skin and bath product is now in my possession. Thank god it was on 3 for 2 in Superdrug otherwise I might have spent a pretty penny.
As someone that loves a good bubble bath and pamper evening from time to time, I often find myself reaching for Zoe’s products to use along side some of my trusty favourites from Soap & Glory
including a Clean On Me shower gel with my face on. I must say other than one or two other moisturisers I typically reach for my Zoella ones…I think it’s the pretty packaging that always catches my attention. Anyway I’m going to go into a bit more detail on the range at all the products. Although if you watch Zoe’s vlogs I’m sure you’re already sick to death of hearing about this range.
What’s In The Botanics Range?
The botanical range is made up of 7 products, 6 for your body/ bath and then a makeup bag. I believe this is one of the smaller collections that have been released but still amazing quality. The products are; Quench Me Body Sorbet, Botanic’eau Body Mist, Make A Splash Body Wash, So Soft Lip Oil, Drench Me Bath Soak, Lagoon Love Bath Milk and finally Beautiful Bag.
To be honest I think this is the perfect range of products, there’s enough to keep everyone happy but not too many that you get overwhelmed and don’t know what to try. For me I knew I needed the bath soak, body mist and lip oil but was also keen to try the other products. I was without a doubt suckered in by the packaging.

Now I recently picked up the Gucci Bloom Acqua Di Fiori as my summer scent, its clean and light will still be slightly floral but not to the point you get ambushed by bees and butterflies. The scent for the botanical collection reminds me very much of my Gucci perfume, but I can spritz the body mist without fear of all the money I spent on it
well mum spent on it. In general the scent is really nice and perfect for this time of year, it’s not too heavy that you have to worry about being too spritz happy, or that using a couple of products from the range is going to make you smell super strong. It might not be the longest lasting scent but it’s gorgeous.
I’m a sucker for packaging and Zoe & her team did a smashing job on this range. As soon as I saw sneak picks of it I was caught hook line and sinker and needed everything in my life. While I absolutely adore minimalistic packaging, there’s just something about a range that’s Instagram ready without much effort need. Plus the fact that the range matched my bed sheets just meant it was fate…no I didn’t just buy the products for the gram…although I’m still yet to try everything out. But I’ve been using up other products before opening more…it has been a struggle to resist though.
Now I’m going to go and run myself a lovely bubble bath and have a soak, then come out and smell amazing.
Love you lots like jelly tots x
