3 Of My Favourite Blogmas Posts

We Rise By Lifting Others

It’s December 22nd…that means I’ve read 22 days worth of Blogmas content from quite a few bloggers, and while I’ll admit I haven’t read every single post by every single blogger. There are however a handful of bloggers whose posts I have read every read every single day, and actually wait around for the posts to go live. For example, I read Abbi’s latest post every morning when I wake up. This post is partly influenced by similar posts I’ve seen going around, but also because of the amount of negativity that is currently in the blogging community…especially on social media which is extremely saddening around this time of year. Christmas should be a time of joy, cheer and spreading the love…not a time for ripping people down!

Instead of just telling you my favourite blogmas’s I’ve chosen 3 specific posts I’ve absolutely adored so far and have got my brain ticking with blog ideas myself. For me a good post has; great photography, interesting text and some sort of meaning behind it…unless it’s an outfit photo in which case the photography is even more important for me. While there have been loads of posts I’ve enjoyed reading by multiple different bloggers, these are the three that deserve a special recognition. I’ve done a couple of posts similar to this before where I also mentioned Abbi and Livie…oops including: Blogs To Read This Summer and People You Need To Be Following.

You might notice that these photos are shot in a different location, and that’s because I’m finally home for Christmas I’ve been home for over a week now and it means I get to shoot in both my recently decorated bedroom as well as the recently decorated living room . Hopefully, once we get a new kitchen I’ll be able to shoot some things in there since I’ve been wanting to share a few of my favourite recipes with you for a while…but that won’t be until Easter at the earliest.

Surviving The Party Season As An Introvert by Simply Abbi

I’ve been absolutely in love with Abbi’s blog for a few months now, and she’s one of the bloggers whose content made me want to get into fashion blogging more. Despite this, she has somehow upped the quality of her content even more ready for blogmas, and while she might have taken a few days off due to sickness…the whole of her blogmas is my favourite this year. All of her posts this year have been extremely diverse, and completely fit in with her niche…which is always pleasant to see.It was extremely difficult to choose just one post to feature here, and instead of going for one of her stunning outfit posts I decided to go with a post that really spoke to me.

Festive Boyfriend Tag by Loulabellerose

I remember meeting Lauren over a year ago, and back then she was quite a timid flower and over the course of 2017, she has most certainly started to bloom and come out of her shell a lot more. She not only managed to smash out blogtober but is also taking on blogmas how on earth does she manage it? I’m forever seeing her tweets about Max totally don’t have her tweet notifications on and they just seem adorable together…even if he sometimes annoys her, but whose boyfriend doesn’t have that quality?

I must say the words and photos in this post absolutely melted my heart and I’ve copied and pasted the questions so I can do them next year with Sam soz…stealing your idea Lauren. Honestly though if this post doesn’t sum up festive cheer and love, I don’t know what does!

Festive Family Traditions by Life With Livie

So because I’m incredibly nosey…I love this post by Livie all about her Christmas Family Traditions. It’s always interesting to read what traditions other families have, especially as my family doesn’t really have any now. Reading this post makes me want to get a hot drink, light a candle and snuggle up in front of a couple of Christmas films (4 Christmas Films To Watch). This post makes me really exciting to be around some of my family on Christmas day, and I can’t wait to make new memories with them!

So these were my 3 favourite posts from blogmas…and yes I’m aware that blogmas isn’t quite over yet but there’s not much longer to go until it is. I was going to include some vlogmas’s as well, but there’s only 3 that I’ve really been love and watch daily opposed to adding it to my vlogmas playlist and they are Soph’s and Gabbie’s.

Do you have any favourite blogmas posts this year?

Love you lots like jelly tots x
