2 Christmas Day Outfits

Happy Christmas eve eve!

I can’t believe how quickly December has gone already…it’s literally just over a week until we start 2018. Before that, though is Christmas Day, I’m actually starting to get excited about the day better late than never. I’m also getting exciting to dress up for the day, this year we are heading to my sister’s for Christmas dinner, which is obviously an excuse to put on a nice outfit but take my pj bottoms in my bag so I thought I’d share with you two outfits I’ve put together…one of which I’ll wear Christmas day and the other I’ll wear on Boxing Day ready to see Sam! something else I’m super excited for.

It’s been a while since I’ve done any outfit posts as well (my latest outfit post was Winter Essential: Check & Faux Fur), so I was super excited to shoot these…and I do have another that’s almost ready to go and just needs the photos shot and that’ll be up in the new year, but I’m definitely going to start posting a lot more regular fashion content in the new year. My first new year resolution.

Outfit One

If red isn’t the most festive colour ever I don’t know what is. I absolutely adore wearing red all year round, but it does look particularly good during the festive season. This particular blouse is from Primark and was only £10! That’s crazy and I might have to go back and pick up several different colours they also had it in mustard and navy. I love the loose sleeves on this, although it might not be the most practical when there’s gravy involved.

I’d been after a vinyl skirt for quite a while and so couldn’t resist picking up this one in the New Look sale…yep shops have already started their Christmas sales and I already know I’m going to end up spending a lot of money. I mean the more clothes I have the more outfit posts I can do…right? I love how it goes with just about any outfit though and you could very easily dress it up or dress it down depending on the ocassion. For this particular outfit I paired it with these little suede boots from New Look that have some stunning detail on the heel.

Outfit 2

I absolute adore wearing lace during the festive season, it just makes any outfit look a lot more put together. This top I picked up also in New Look same time as the skirt and while I had intially planned on wearing the two together, I much prefer how this top looks un-tucked. Obviously if I wear to wear this top on Christmas day I’d wear it with a full vest top on underneath opposed to just a bra…cause gotta conceal that food baby for family photos. I absolutely adore the dark green shades on the top and I feel it goes great with my red hair and makes me look even more ginger.

As for these jeans they’re from Primark…and they have belt loops! In the same way Topshop have started to put belt loops on their Joni jeans, Primark seem to do the same. I’m absolutely in love, my waist is 2 sizes smaller than my hips so I often have the issue of my high waisted jeans falling down but I will struggle no more. It also gives me room to losen my belt when I eat my body weight in roast potatos and yorkshire puddings.

I absolutely adore both of these outfits and it’ll be a struggle to decide which one to wear…or to wear something different entirely. Cause you know I’m a girl and can never decide what to wear.

Which of these outfits is your favourite?

Love you lots like jelly tots x
