I DON’T DRESS FOR BOYS
There was a point in my life where I literally lived in black skinny jeans and band tops, luckily I went on a quest of Finding My Personal Style and now I typically follow the trends but add my own flare. Now I personally adore lace and crochet dresses, I think they look absolutely stunning and elegant. Plus they’re available in a range of budget-friendly options…some cheaper than others
I’m lusting over a Self Portrait dress. Now when it comes to date nights I love an excuse to dress up, but a white lace dress can be dressed up or dressed down. I think this particular dress could look adorable paired with some converse and a denim jacket or worn with heels and a tailored coat, or as I have with a pair of flats and a long line coat.
Now I have recently started to class up my style slightly and maturing it…although I still have an ample collection of Disney related items. I feel like this dress is going to be a staple in my collection to the point I’m tempted to order it in the black and dark rose colours. After all spring and summer are just around the corner. Tobi have done an amazing job with this Bella white lace skater dress* though and even better is the fact that while they’re based in the USA all customs are included at the checkout so no hidden fees or charges. While I was concered that this dress may not fit round my bust (since I am very blessed in the boob department) but I have no issues and can fit a padded bra underneath without worrying about sizing up. I am wearing an M in this dress which is a UK 10/12…as well as being the perfect length that I like.

For this specific outfit, I wore this nude pointed toe studded shoes from Primark but it’s obvious they’re dupes for Valentinos
one day I’ll splurge on a pair. Considering they were only £3 in the sale they don’t look cheap or tacky. They’re really comfortable, although I did size up one size just so I didn’t have to worry about my feet being squished into the pointed toe…after all, I’m used to bare feet, ballet shoes or pointe shoes. I absolutely love how these make my feet look, and I’m finally understanding why people say that a pointed toe is more elegant than a round toe shoe. You’ll soon see me adding more pointed toe shoe into my collection. While these shoes do have gold hardware detail, they’re not the super tacky yellow gold that you often get on cheaper products and they look absolutely fine with my all silver jewellery…but they’d also go with rose gold as well.
