New Year, New Bullet Journal

It’s December which means it’s not long until 2018 rolls around, which is a fresh start so I’m making the most of it. If you’ve been reading my blog since it started you’ll know that I went through a stage of using a bullet journal (I did a post about it Time To Get Organised), but it just wasn’t suitable for my daily needs and I didn’t have enough time to draw out layouts. Therefore the notebook I was using began to gather dust and hadn’t been touched for other a month. The Lauren no prizes for guessing whose blogging I’m loving right now did a post Inside My Bullet Journal and it inspired me to pull mine back out but this time use it only for blogging so I wouldn’t have to worry about weekly or daily spreads.

I’d previously been using the Dot Creates Ultimate Blog Planner but it just didn’t have enough trackers or space for my liking, plus I found it hard to keep track of my posts as there were no dividers or anything. This is another thing that scratched that bullet journal need as well, as it is the perfect way to have everything you want in one place.

Since September I have actually been trying my hand at bullet journaling again and I’ve found I’ve been a hell of a lot more organized with my blog (if you hadn’t noticed my posts have been more varied and consistent). So I decided to order a new notebook so I could have a fresh start for the new year and in my free time I’ve been setting this one up and so far I have the whole of January ready to go, along with several other pages…as well as spacing out the entire year. This post is pretty much just photos of inside by bullet journal, but I get a lot of inspiration from Pinterest for pages.

I’m super excited to start using my journal to keep track of everything to do with my blog, from being able to track things to being able to plan posts in. It means I’ll no longer have to carry around multiple notebooks (even though I do have a seperate diary for uni/personal life). Hopefully I won’t lose motivation with this half way into the year, since I’ve already allocated space for blogtober and blogmas planning. Let me know if you would want an updated version of this post in June/July time.

Do you think you’d ever want to use a bullet journal?

Love you lots like jelly tots x
